Job Description
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
Proven experience in an IT management role, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
Experience in ERP/POS/online applications used for F&B Industry.
Good knowledge of all aspects of IT systems including infrastructure, systems, network, people and project management
Knowledge of IT security principles, standards, and best practices, with experience in implementing and maintaining security controls.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead the IT function within the company, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Review and update existing policies and procedures, and create new ones as necessary to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
Maintain and oversee essential IT infrastructure, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware.
Plan and implement disaster recovery procedures, backup procedures, capacity planning, and recovery activities to ensure business continuity.
Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems administration, ensuring the security and reliability of IT systems.
Ensure seamless communication and efficient operation of network components to meet business needs.
Provide daily IT operational support, including hardware, network, and software maintenance, and troubleshoot issues for all restaurant outlets in Oman and the UAE, including the head office.
Manage company websites, including the Al Toobi New Enterprises website (www.altoobi.com) and the Italian Barrista Café website (https://italianbaristacafe.com). This includes the management of GoDaddy server and hosting services.
Manage and supervise the progress and development of projects, including the implementation of ERP system and any new software/application. Coordinate with vendor (e.g., MYCOM) if necessary.
Continually analyze processes and technologies to identify areas for improvement and necessary upgrades, evaluate any development requirements.
Coordinate with the Procurement Department for the purchase of selected hardware and software that supports business needs.
Manage and maintain all CCTVs, including VPN maintenance.
Collaborate with other departments to meet operational requirements, including providing training when necessary.
Supervise IT staff, including evaluation, training, and professional development.
Track and maintain hardware and software inventory, ensuring accurate documentation.
Provide necessary reports on work progress.
Perform any other related tasks as assigned by management.
