Job Description

The Front Desk Receptionist will be responsible for managing the front desk of the physiotherapy clinic. They will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors and will be responsible for greeting, assisting and directing them to the appropriate area. They will also be responsible for managing appointments, answering phone calls, and providing excellent customer service in both English and the local language.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Manage the front desk and ensure it is organized and tidy
  • Answer phone calls and provide information to callers in a clear and concise manner
  • Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's appointment calendar
  • Confirm appointments and remind patients of upcoming appointments
  • Collect patient information and ensure it is accurate and up-to-date
  • Manage patient files and ensure they are organized and easily accessible
  • Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality is maintained at all times
  • Respond to patient inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Process payments and manage billing inquiries
  • Communicate with physiotherapists and other staff members to ensure patients receive the best possible care
  • Assist with marketing and promotional activities as required
  • Other duties as assigned by the clinic management

 

Requirements:

  • Fluency in both English and the local language is required
  • Previous experience as a receptionist or customer service representative is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and physiotherapy practices is an asset
  • Must be able to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be punctual, reliable, and responsible
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
